The Mark Larson Show is heard throughout Southern California on the new San Diego 1700AM. The program airs weekdays from 5 to 9AM and is available online everywhere on SanDiego1700.com. He also is heard on his afternoon commentaries on sister station XX 1090AM.

Known for traveling the world to gain insight on important stories, he's covered the Iraq war on location in the Middle East, smuggled Bibles to the underground church in Southeast Asia and done ground-breaking broadcasts from war zones including the Persian Gulf region and Afghanistan. Mark's also visited Russia and made several trips to China, including Tibet. His continuing on-site broadcasts in the USA and around the globe give him a unique perspective on current events.

Each week his voice is heard on over 2,500 radio and television outlets worldwide. He's the prime guest-host on Michael Reagan's syndicated national radio show and serves as political analyst on KUSI Television. He's also been seen on NBC, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and CNN's "Larry King Live". Mark received an Emmy Award for a weekly entertainment show in Southern California and was host of nationally telecast events from Washington, DC on the NET and America's Voice networks.

With the San Diego Radio Broadcasters Association, Mark served as President for a record eight consecutive terms. Radio & Records named him to its "All-Star Players" list in 2006 and 2007, citing him as one of only twelve "local legends" in American talk radio.

A strong advocate for the United States military, Mark is a lifetime member of the Navy League and has Honorary Plankowner status with the USS Ronald Reagan, the Navy's newest aircraft carrier, to commemorate his on-going support of the ship and its crew since commissioning in 2003. He is a supporter of the Ronald Reagan Library and Air Force One Pavilion as well as a Rawhide Circle member of the Young America's Foundation, owners of the Reagan Ranch.

Mark owns and operates Mark Larson Media Services, Inc., his programming, production and consulting company which includes SpeakersGroup.NET, a talent agency representing more than 30 unique celebrities.

A sought-after advertising spokesman for many regional and national clients, Mark is often selected for special speaking engagements. Assignments have included emceeing many political events and several related to the San Diego GOP National Convention. He was chosen by the Reagan White House to help organize and emcee two major California rallies with the 40th President. For ten years, he was part owner of two Salt Lake City radio stations.

Prior to coming to Broadcast Company of the Americas (BCA) and San Diego 1700, Mark was heard on his popular daily show on Clear Channel's KOGO. Before joining KOGO in 2004, he was a well-known radio talk show personality on Salem Communications' KCBQ/KPRZ San Diego and KRLA 870AM, Los Angeles. He was also the main guest-host for SRN network's Michael Medved, Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt shows. Mark joined KPRZ as General Manager in 1994, after eighteen years with KFMB (CBS) Radio in San Diego, where he was Program and Operations Manager and a popular afternoon personality. He also served as National Program Director/Radio for KFMB's parent company. His current duties with BCA include serving as Program Director for San Diego 1700AM.

Active in a variety of charitable organizations, Mark serves on the Board of the
San Diego Air & Space Museum as well as the Global Leadership Council and Board of Directors for Heart to Heart International.
