Lynn Vincent is the #1 New York Times bestselling writer of Going Rogue: An American Life, the memoir of former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and Same Kind of Different as Me, the story of the unlikely friendship between a wealthy white art dealer and a homeless African-American man.
The author or co-author of eight books, Vincent worked for 11 years as senior writer, then features editor, at the national news magazine WORLD, where she covered politics, culture, and current events.
During the Roman Catholic Church child-sex scandals, Vincent was first to break the story of serial sexual abuse of women by Protestant clergy.
Passionately pro-life, her investigative story on the illegal sale of body parts recovered from abortions was cited in congressional hearings on a ghoulish underground trade in human remains. In 2001, Vincent conducted a six-month probe into allegations of perjury in the landmark federal case, National Organization for Women (NOW) v. Joseph Scheidler, proving that several NOW witnesses had lied. The Scheidler defendants' racketeering conviction was later overturned on legal grounds by the U.S. Supreme Court.
A U.S. Navy veteran, she has been married for 20 years to her husband, Danny. They live in San Diego with their two handsome sons and an adorable Boxer puppy named Mia who is all looks and no brains.
