  What can be said about Leitner? Well,
where do we start? He’s one of America’s most
colorful… and often controversial…media
personalities anywhere. San Diego’s #1 TV/Radio
figure for 25 years, Ted Leitner is the voice of the
major league baseball San Diego Padres. He’s also
been play-by-play broadcaster for the NFL Chargers, NBA
Clippers and SDSU Aztecs. He set records as the longest
running TV success story in recent San Diego history,
with over two decades on the CBS network affiliate.
Leitner also hosted a leading radio talk show and is an
accomplished author, speaker and emcee. Known for his
unusual (and very funny) “it’s only a
game” style of sports and current events reporting,
Ted brings audiences to their feet with a razor-sharp
wit, deep knowledge and an understanding of the human
psyche that comes from years of “been there, done
that” experience.
